The first edition of the Living Content Biennial has been shaped by meaningful collaborations with two Bucharest-based art collectives.

The artist group Specula developed an interactive promotion program inspired by the biennial’s location: the Târgu Ocna Salt Mine. Their contributions included a raffle, informative materials about the salt mine, and special snacks prepared by the group. They also created an edible installation using expanded rice, which extended the exhibition's themes into the unique environment of the Salt Mine. This installation was unveiled during the opening night and added an engaging touch to the event.

Another collaboration was with STOL Collective, who set up a photo set on opening night. This allowed guests to take photos and create keepsakes from the evening.

Both Specula and STOL Collective are based in Bucharest and our collaboration with them reflects the shared effort and creativity that brought the Living Content Biennial: EARTHCAKE to life.

We’re grateful to Specula and STOL Collective for their contributions to this edition.
